CBL: Spending amounted $3 billion during first quarter of 2022, revenues $0.7 billion

CBL: Spending amounted $3 billion during first quarter of 2022, revenues $0.7 billion

A statement by the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) showed on Tuesday evening that the total actual revenue during the first quarter of the current year 2022 amounted to 3.4 billion Libyan dinars ($0.7 billion), while expenditure amounted to 14.7 billion Libyan dinars ($3 billion).

CBL stated that oil revenue amounted to 2.6 billion dinars, tax revenue 502 million dinars, customs 25 million dinars, and other revenues amounted to 318 million dinars.

CBL also clarified that expenditures on salaries amounted to 9.4 billion, the operating expenses amounted to 676 million dinars, and the support 4.6 billion dinars, while no sums were spent on development and emergencies.
