Libyan universities will continue to be closed until the end of July following a spike of Coronavirus cases in the country, the Ministry of Higher Education announced on Thursday.
In a statement, the ministry said it will “study the epidemiological situation with the relevant authorities”. It also added that universities that are except from closure are the ones located in areas in which “the epidemiological situation is relatively good”, provided that the ministry receive “daily reports from the committees concerned with monitoring the epidemiological situation in those areas.”
