Tripoli – The first stage of the 2025-2026 Volleyball League has concluded. The General Competitions Committee of the Libyan Volleyball Federation announced the qualified clubs. These clubs will participate in the ‘Nine-team Gathering’ playoffs. The playoffs will take place in Tripoli. They are part of the current sports season’s competitions.
The committee reported details for the ‘Nine-team Gathering’. A technical meeting will occur on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. It starts at 5:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Libyan Olympic Committee’s meeting hall. Attendance is limited. Only the sports or administrative director, team coach, or assistant coach may attend. Participants must bring official and reserve uniforms. This applies to both the team captain and the libero player.
The ‘Nine-team Gathering’ volleyball competitions are scheduled. They will run from February 5 to February 15, 2026. The matches will be held at Tripoli Grand Hall. The following teams will participate in this stage: Al-Hilal, Al-Ahly Benghazi, Al-Nasr, Al-Sweihli, Al-Ittihad Misrata, Al-Afriqi Zliten, Al-Ahly Tripoli, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Jazeera.
