Conclusion of a training workshop for faculty members at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences in Benghazi

Benghazi – The workshop for enhancing the efficiency of faculty members concluded today, Monday. It took place at the Benghazi Medical Center. These members are from the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences. The event was organized in collaboration with the Libyan Society for Medical and Health Education. It ran from January 31 to February 2.

Several faculty members from the college participated in the workshop. This was part of a training program. The program aimed to develop teaching and evaluation skills. It also sought to improve feedback mechanisms. These improvements target the medical educational environment.

Najia Al-Barghathi provided a statement. She is the Director of the Media and Public Relations Office. This office is within the Medical Colleges Complex at Benghazi University. She stated the workshop focused on applying modern teaching methods. It also aimed to enhance academic performance efficiency. Another goal was introducing the integration of AI tools. These tools are for medical and health education.

She further added that these training programs are beneficial. They support the educational process in medical colleges. They also develop the capabilities of academic staff. This ensures they keep pace with scientific developments. The programs enhance the quality of educational outcomes. This applies to biomedical specializations. These specializations are directly related to the health sector.

Several specialists oversaw the workshop’s main topics. These experts are in medical education. They also specialize in modern evaluation methods. They emphasized the importance of continuing such workshops. This helps build an advanced educational system. Such a system responds to the needs of health institutions. It also addresses the demands of the labor market.

At the conclusion of the workshop, certificates were distributed. This took place at the Benghazi Medical Center. Participation certificates were given to the attending faculty members.
