Sirte – The evaluation committee for the Arabic Reading Challenge initiative at the municipal education office in Sirte concluded its activities Monday on the stage of 17 February Hawks School. The event was attended by Sirte’s Director of Education, Miftah Abdelkafi, along with directors of the offices of private education, school activities, and media and communications.
The evaluations showcased a strong competitive atmosphere, reflecting the high level of participating students. The initiative aims to strengthen a culture of reading, develop students’ creativity and excellence, and select students to advance to the next stages.
At the closing ceremony, committee members were awarded certificates of appreciation. Outstanding students received certificates of excellence in recognition of their distinguished performance throughout the evaluations.
The event also featured the presentation of the Excellence and Giving Shield to Sirte’s Director of Education, in appreciation of his continued support for the initiative. The School Activities Office at the education department was also honored for its key role in supporting student programs and the success of the initiative’s activities. These honors were presented by the coordinator of the Arabic Reading Challenge at the municipal and central district level.
