Libya’s Supreme Council for Energy Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, held a meeting on Monday to review the National Oil Corporation’s strategic plan to increase energy production and review efforts to activate the Ras Lanuf industrial complex, according to a statement by Dbeibeh’s media office.
During the meeting, the inclusion of the dossier on water issues in the tasks of the Supreme Council for Energy Affairs was also discussed, following the recommendation made in the Prime Minister’s previous meeting with the Management Committee. The agenda also included the issue of fuel, with a focus on efforts by state institutions to develop pragmatic solutions for this sector.
