Outgoing Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, held a meeting on Wednesday with top officials of the state economy, including Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Saddek Elkaber, head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, and the Minister of Finance, Muhammad Al-Shhoubi.
According to a statement by the Tripoli-based government, the officials “discussed the disclosure and transparency reports issued by the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance.”
They also agreed on “the need to increase data details, especially in the offices of financial services monitors in the country’s regions.”
Dbeibeh reviewed measures taken by his government regarding “the oil closure and its effects on the work of power stations, and the need to take deterrent steps towards it.”
