Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh held a meeting in Tripoli today with a French diplomatic delegation led by Anne Guéguen, the Director of Africa and the Middle East Affairs at the French foreign ministry.
According to a statement by Dbeibeh’s media office, both sides discuss prospects of collaboration between Libya and France on energy, health and infrastructure.
During the meeting, Guéguen also affirmed that the French embassy in Tripoli has resumed its activities and it is now fully present in the country.
France’s Special Envoy to Libya, Paul Soler, and the country’s ambassador Mostafa Mihraje were also present in the meeting alongside Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Mangoush.
