Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh held a meeting on Saturday with France’s Special Envoy to Libya, Paul Soler, in Tripoli for discussion on “political developments” and “unifying efforts to hold elections in Libya”, according to a statement by Dbeibeh’s media office.
Mostafa Mihraje, France’s new ambassador to Libya, was also present in the meeting. He and Soler affirmed their country’s “desire to support the Libyan parties to achieve the elections as soon as possible,” according to Dbeibeh’s media office.
