TRIPOLI – The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, has warned the parliament against further delay of approving his proposed budget, which he says could turn his Government of National Unity into a “failed” and “paralyzed” government.
Speaking before the parliament’s financial committee in Tripoli this week, Dbeibeh called on Libyan MPs to accelerate budget approval and vowed to monitor any violation of budget law.
