The government of outgoing prime minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, condemned on Saturday the terrorist which targeted a water-lifting station in Egypt’s on the Sinai Peninsula, which led to the killing of 10 Egyptian soldiers.
The foreign ministry of Dbeibeh’s government released a statement to express “its strong condemnation and denunciation” of attack, and affirming support for Egypt.
“Libya affirms its full stand with the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt towards all threatens against its security and stability,” the ministry said.
It added that Libya also supports Egypt’s “efforts in confronting such dangerous terrorist acts, and we offer sincere condolences and sympathy to the brotherly Egyptian people.”
