The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa, on Friday inspected the final equipment and preparations for Sirte Gulf International Airport, emphasizing his personal follow-up and direct interest in ensuring the airport’s readiness for its official launch.
The Lieutenant General indicated that these efforts aim to ensure the airport’s opening is consistent with the status of the city of Sirte and its pivotal role in the national development map.
The Deputy Commander-in-Chief stressed the importance of completing all arrangements to ensure that operations run efficiently and smoothly from the very first day.
