Al Jufra – The Warehouses Office of the Educational Facilities Authority, under the Jufra Education Monitoring Office, has begun distributing the first batch of textbooks to basic education institutions in the municipalities of Hon, Waddan, Sokna, and Al-Fuqaha.
Ramzi Zaid, Director of the Educational Facilities Office in Jufra, confirmed in a statement to the Libyan News Agency (LANA) that the distribution is part of a comprehensive plan to provide school supplies before the start of the academic year. He noted that new batches of books will arrive at the warehouses next week, including secondary school books and the remaining basic education books, in addition to school accessories such as boards and markers.
Zaid explained that about 75% of the textbooks have been received so far, while the remaining shipments are expected to arrive from Tripoli to Jufra within a few days to complete the distribution process.
He stressed the need to adhere to accurate reports and statistics for each educational institution to ensure a fair and organized distribution of books, guaranteeing that the curriculum is provided to all students without exception.
