Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, stressed the need to support the Libyan 5+5 Joint Military Committee (JMC) in order to complete its various tasks, including ensuring the exit of all foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya.
Shoukry praised, at the ministerial meeting of Libya’s neighboring countries in Algeria, the achievements of JMC, the latest of which was the opening of the coastal road between East and West, stressing the need to provide full support to it in order to complete its various tasks, including ensuring the exit of all foreign forces and mercenaries.
Shoukry referred to Egypt’s firm position towards strengthening the structure of security and stability in Libya, adding that Egypt gives priority to Libyan political solutions within the framework of preserving Libya’s unity and its national institutions, in order to achieve a comprehensive settlement that takes into account all aspects of the Libyan issue.
