Emaar Libya Holding Company Leads Economic and Commercial Discussions with Turkey

Benghazi – The Turkish political and commercial delegation began its visit. The delegation arrived in Benghazi on Friday. They held a series of official meetings with Emaar Libya Holding Company. This aims to enhance investment and economic cooperation between the two sides.

Fouad Al-Awam commented on the meeting. He is the Executive Director of Emaar Libya for Exhibitions and Conferences. The delegation met at the company’s headquarters. Attendees included the Mayor of Bursa, Turkey. The head of the Bursa trade delegation was also present. The head of the Bursa Businessmen’s Union attended. The office manager for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s party was there. Several members of the political and commercial delegation also participated.

Al-Awam clarified this to the Libyan News Agency. The meeting involved Emaar Libya’s board chairmen. They discussed opportunities for joint cooperation. They reviewed several agreements and memorandums of understanding. Mechanisms for exchanging investment visits were also discussed.

The day’s program included a field visit. They visited the Lotus Project, owned by Emaar Libya. The purpose was to inspect implementation stages. They also evaluated available investment opportunities within the project.

He affirmed the importance of these meetings. They aim to strengthen economic and investment partnerships. They support development efforts. They also aim to stimulate investment activity in Benghazi.
