Libya’s Foreign Minister Najla Mangoush will arrive in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Thursday, October 14, according to the Turkish foreign ministry.
“During the meetings, bilateral relations and current developments in Libya will be discussed,” the Turkish ministry said in a brief statement.
The ministry did not disclose who will Mangoush be meeting with or how long her trip would last.
This abrupt announcement notably comes amid reports of an upcoming visit by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Libya on Friday.
