Libya records 559 new cases, 17 deaths of COVID-19

Libya records 692 new cases, 10 deaths of COVID-19

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the registration of 559 new cases and 17 deaths of COVID-19.

1,720 people have recovered from COVID-19, NCDC said in a statement on Thursday.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya to 348,647, including 67,7586 active cases, 276,040 recoveries, and 4,849 deaths, since the pandemic spread in the country in March of last year, according to NCDC.

Number of people who have been vaccinated with first dose against COVID-19 have reached 1,447,300, and 300,860 have received the second dose, NCDC statement pointed out.
