A soldier of the Libyan National Army (LNA) was killed in western Libya on Wednesday morning, the LNA’s 444th Combat Brigade announced today.
Lieutenant Siraj Shatib Ali was “cowardly assassinated” in his hometown of Bani Walid, the LNA force said in a brief statement.
The 444th Combat Brigade did not disclose any information regarding the incident or who is behind it. However, it vouched “appropriate punishment” and “justice” against the culprits.
