Arriving in Cyrenaica on September 13th, French rescue workers treated 1,652 patients over one month, including 295 children and 45 infants, according to the French Civil Security Service.
At a ceremony marking the detachment’s departure, the French Civil Security Service thanked the troops of the Libyan National Army led by Field Marshal Haftar for their invaluable assistance in setting up, operating, and dismantling the Derna field hospital.
They stated the Libyan National Army once again demonstrated its high operational capacity, adaptability in complex crises, and commitment to service through its concrete support.
