Libya’s electricity crisis to improve by next week, General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) said on Thursday.
GECOL’s Director Mohamed Ismail told reporters that the situation will gradually evolve as the company expects to add 1,300 megawatts to the power grid by September.
The power grid of Ubari has been repaired recently, which would enable the transfer of about 380 additional megawatts to the southern regions, Ismail said.
