Ubari – The Libyan Army’s General Command announced that planes carrying humanitarian aid have arrived at Ubari Airport. The deliveries were ordered by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, General Commander of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, and overseen by his deputy, Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar. The aid aims to support areas in southern Libya affected by recent floods and torrential rain.
The 105th Infantry Battalion received the aid shipment. It will distribute supplies to municipalities and affected regions, including Ghat, Tahala, Issen, Al-‘Uwaynat, and other localities.
Army officials said this operation is part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to help residents cope with the disaster, meet basic needs, and ensure rapid delivery of assistance to those most in need.
