Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Health Minister of the Libyan outgoing Government of National Unity (GNU), Ramadan Abu Janah, has met with Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy to Libya, Leslie Ordman.
The meeting discussed the latest political developments in Libya and the possibility of pushing and intensifying efforts towards holding parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible to achieve stability in the country, according to a statement on Abu Janah’s official Facebook page.
In the presence of a delegation from the Southern Region, the attendees also discussed the problems and difficulties that the Region face in general, especially the issue of borders and irregular migration.
