Tripoli – The Ministry of Youth in the Government of National Unity and the Savings and Real Estate Investment Bank agreed on urgent measures. These measures will address challenges facing the Youth and Needy Families Housing Initiative. They will also accelerate its implementation. Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah launched this initiative three years ago.
This agreement followed a meeting held on Sunday evening. Minister of Youth Haithem Al-Zahhaf chaired the meeting. Al-Zahhaf also heads the Supreme Committee for the Prime Minister’s Housing Initiative. He met with the Director General and Deputy Chairman of the Savings and Real Estate Investment Bank. Several department and office managers from the ministry attended.
The Ministry of Youth announced details on its official Facebook page. The meeting discussed updates on the initiative’s implementation. It also covered mechanisms for disbursing entitlements to beneficiaries. The importance of simplifying procedures was emphasized. Ensuring citizens receive their rights according to approved timelines was also stressed.
The parties also discussed challenges hindering the initiative’s completion in some municipalities. These challenges include delays in matching administrative and financial data. Urgent measures were agreed upon to address these issues. The aim is to accelerate the pace of implementation.
The ministry stated this step is part of the Government of National Unity’s efforts. These efforts aim to enhance housing stability. They also seek to improve citizens’ living conditions. The goal is to ensure support reaches eligible recipients efficiently and fairly.
