Benghazi witnessed a meeting regarding work on the reconstruction of the affected neighborhoods, where the Deputy Prime Minister, Ali al-Qatrani, met with Benghazi Mayor, the Chair of the Benghazi and Derna Reconstruction Fund, the General Manager of the Greek LEEAD Engineering Consulting Company, and a number of experienced and specialized individuals.
The government said that the meeting focused on how to move forward towards advancing the reconstruction of the city of Benghazi on sound and scientific foundations.
It added that al-Qatrani stressed the need for the reconstruction process to take place in accordance with the prepared plan and maps drawn up by specialists, pointing out that the Libyan Prime Minister gave permission to start construction projects, and that all procedures and transactions in this regard will be facilitated.
