On second day of his official visit to Libya, International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Karim Khan met with Abdoulaye Bathily, Special Representative of UN Secretary General for Libya.
Prosecutor Khan expressed sincere thanks for the strong support of UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) for his visit, according to ICC.
Khan had met in Tripoli with Mohamed al-Menfi, President of the Libyan Presidential Council.
Prosecutor Khan expressed sincere thanks to al-Menfi for the support he and Libyan authorities had provided in facilitating the visit, agreeing on essential need to accelerate cooperation to deliver justice for victims in Libya, said ICC.
