The National Development Agency has announced an increased pace of the ongoing work on the eastern route of the international road, starting from the city of Sirte. This is part of the dual international road project, which receives direct support from the General Command, with the aim of developing infrastructure and improving connection networks between the country’s cities.
The Agency continues to carry out paving works at an accelerated pace, with on-site monitoring and continuous supervision from project management engineers and consultants around the clock to ensure all work stages are implemented according to the highest technical and engineering standards.
The project is moving forward with steady steps toward completing this vital part of the international road, enabling it to connect to the city of Benghazi and reach the Libyan-Egyptian border. This will enhance transit movement, support development processes, and facilitate travel between the country’s various regions.
