Benghazi – A new 200 kVA electrical transformer was installed, Sunday, in the Sayyida Aisha area, with support from the Development Fund, under the supervision of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and with follow-up from the Supreme Committee for Resolving the Electricity Crisis.
This step comes as part of efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance the performance of the electrical grid in the city of Benghazi, serving as a final solution to the problem of frequent outages and low voltage that residents of the area have suffered from, especially with urban expansion and increased loads, as the previous 100 kVA transformer was no longer sufficient to meet the neighborhood’s needs.
Technical teams from the South Benghazi Department carried out the installation work with high efficiency, followed by a redistribution of loads within the neighborhood, ensuring the stability of the electrical service and the regular supply of power to all homes.
Residents of the area expressed their thanks to the entities supervising and supporting the project, stressing that this achievement reflects a swift response to their suffering and contributes to improving daily living conditions and the stability of essential services.
