More than 1,500 migrants were intercepted by authorities in Libya during last three days, said Safa Msehli, the spokeswoman of the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
“The Mediterranean is one of the most grim examples of ineffective and inhumane responses to migration,” she said via Twitter on Friday.
