Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, on Sunday payed a visit to Benghazi, during which he met with the Mayor, Saqr Bujwari.
They discussed the reflection of the current political situation repercussions on the work of the Municipality and the extent of its ability to provide services in light of the current situation, according to Benghazi Municipality.
The meeting also discussed works and projects implemented by the United Nations Development Program in Benghazi, and the importance of joint coordination with regard to the reconstruction and stabilization program in the city, the Municipality said in a statement.
