The Italian Consul in Benghazi, Carlo Batori, held talks on Monday with eastern representatives of the Libyan Business Council to discuss the latter’s cooperation with Italian companies to implement the coastal motorway project.
The LBC said in a statement that its member companies “possess capabilities to be able to cooperate with their Italian counterparts in a positive manner in support of the private sector and to facilitate work and completion in the cities designated for it.”
The coastal motorway project aims to connect the towns located in the Libyan-Egyptian border to eastern city of Marj.
