Jaliana Free Zone launches a program to develop change management skills

Benghazi – The Jilyana Free Zone hosted a training session. The session was held on Saturday. It focused on “Change Management and Enhancing Psychological Resilience.” Heads of departments and offices attended. The Training and Development Office supervised the event. It was organized in cooperation with Dr. Salem Al-Sultani.

The meeting covered several important topics. These included defining psychological security. Different types of workplace change were discussed. Factors influencing organizational change were also examined. Relevant legislation and laws were presented. The session addressed change’s impact on mental health. This included anxiety, depression, and physical stress. Concepts of resistance and rejection were covered. Effective change management strategies were taught. Continuous follow-up and evaluation methods were also part of the discussion.

Dr. Salem Al-Sultani spoke to a WAL correspondent. He explained that change is now essential. This is to keep pace with technological advancements. It also supports renewed infrastructure. He noted the meeting aimed to clarify the concept of change. Another goal was to demonstrate effective change management. Reducing resistance to change within the workplace was also emphasized.
