Libya have signed an agreement with the French Embassy for the teaching the French language to employees of the Tripoli-based Ministry of Labor.
This came during a meeting on Monday between Minister of Labor Ali Abed and French Ambassador, Beatrice de Hellen, at the Libyan minister’s office in Tripoli.
The two officials also discussed cooperation capacity building and professional training, and reviewed the programs and projects that the ministry “intends to implement in the upcoming period,” according to a statement from the ministry.
Regarding vocational training, the minister and the ambassador “agreed to encourage the main French companies operating in Libya to hire and train people looking for work”.
For her part, the French ambassador expressed “the willingness of her country to provide technical support and the necessary training to develop the skills of young job seekers, graduates and employees”.
