Libya NCDC records 488 new cases, 7 deaths of COVID-19

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced recording 488 new cases of COVID-19, 99 of which were critical.

NCDC also recorded 920 new cases of recovery and 7 deaths, according to a statement it published on Wednesday.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya to 379,816, including 7,157 active cases, 367,083 recoveries, and 5576 deaths, since the pandemic outbreak in the country.

NCDC records showed that 1,800,442 people had received the first dose of the vaccine against COVID-19, while 767,126 received the second dose.
