Benghazi – The Libyan Reconstruction and Development Fund has provided 150 modern vehicles to support the safety and public services sectors in Benghazi. The donation includes 100 fire trucks for the National Safety Authority and 50 garbage trucks for the Benghazi Public Services Company.
The fund stated that this support aims to strengthen state institutions and improve basic services. The new vehicles are intended to help beneficiary agencies better perform their duties and respond more efficiently.
According to the fund, the fire trucks will boost the National Safety Authority’s emergency response capacity and help protect lives and property. The new garbage trucks will enhance the operational abilities of the Benghazi Public Services Company and contribute to a cleaner city.
These vehicles are part of the fund’s broader plan to support service sectors and raise the efficiency of relevant institutions, under the supervision of Fund Director General Eng. Belqasim Haftar.
