Al Jabal al-Akhdar – Teams from the National Safety Authority extinguished a fire in the Dabousiya area of Al Jabal al-Akhdar. Rough terrain prevented fire trucks from reaching the scene. Firefighters reached the blaze on foot and put it out manually.
The local branch director told Al-Anbaa Libya that teams from Quba, Shahat, Al-Bayda, and Derna took part in the response. They brought the fire under control and prevented it from spreading.
He called for providing specialized firefighting aircraft for rugged areas to improve response times, reduce risks to firefighters, and protect local vegetation.
