Libya recorded average of 7 Coronavirus cases last week

Libya has recorded an average of 7 COVID-19 cases between the 16th and 21st of April, according to a Saturday report by the National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC).

An average of 12 recoveries were recorded during the same reporting period, NCDC said. No deaths reported.

The total recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya have exceeded more than 50,000 since the start of the pandemic, while over 490,000 of which have recovered, according to the NCDC.

The virus has claimed the lives of 6,430 people. Over two million people received one dose of the vaccination, while more than one million others were vaccinated with two doses.
