Libya records 2134 new cases, 31 deaths of COVID-19

3845 people test positive for COVID-19, 31 others dead in Libya

The National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC) has reported on Sunday that 2,134 new people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 30 percent of the infection rate. The NCDC said that 31 people died of the virus, while 967 have recovered during the same reporting period.

The total recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya have exceeded more than 271,000 since the start of the pandemic, while over 201,000 of which have recovered, according to the NCDC.

The virus has claimed the lives of 3,781 people in total, while over 782,000 people were vaccinated.
