The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded on Wednesday 2,325 new cases of COVID-19, in addition to twelve deaths, and 860 cases of recovery.
NCDC received on Tuesday 8,313 samples to test, 5,988 of which were negative, and 860 were positive, representing 28 percent of the total samples examined, the Center said in a statement.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya, since its appearance in March 2020, to 289,219, including 75,840 active cases, 209,411 recoveries, and 3,968 deaths.
The total number of people who received COVID-19 vaccine has reached 889,957 people, according to NCDC.
