Libya on Saturday registered 592 new COVID-19 cases, 11 deaths and 625 recoveries from the disease, according to the Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
The center said the total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya is 392,868, including 379,736 recoveries and 5,778 deaths.
In the western city of Al-Khums, the center held a two-day meeting for vaccination supervisors from all parts of the country to review statistics and reports from last year about vaccination, mainly against COVID-19, as well as plans for the new year.
A total 1,896,903 people have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, among whom 873,726 people have got two doses, according to NCDC.
