Libyan Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Aoun, warned that Libya cannot “deny its need for fossil fuels until 2045″.
Speaking before officials and multinational oil companies at the Libya Economic and Energy Summit, held in Tripoli, that 30% of the country’s reserves of oil and gas “is yet to be discovered.”
“We have confirmed the discovery of natural gas in the territorial waters of eastern and western Libya,” Aoun said to encourage investment in exploration.
