The Libyan Bar Association released a statement on Monday denouncing the “legislative tampering” caused by dispute between the House of Representatives and the Government of National Unity over electoral laws and the government’s legitimacy.
In its statement, the association stressed upon the need to set “an inevitable and final date for the completion of the electoral process.”
The association threatened civil disobedience in the event that no date is set for the elections.
