Quba – The Libyan Center for Research and Rural Development, Eastern branch, discussed ways to support development and improve services in Quba and nearby municipalities during a field visit to the city on Tuesday.
The delegation was led by the branch director, Waad Al-Abdali. The meeting was attended by the mayor of Quba, the mayor of Al-Qayqab, the mayor of Umm Al-Razm, and the education supervisor for Quba municipality.
Participants discussed major challenges facing the health and education sectors within the participating municipalities. They also explored how to benefit from the center’s research and field expertise.
The meeting addressed mechanisms for using scientific studies to support local development plans and improve services for residents. Participants stressed the importance of stronger cooperation among the center, municipalities, and relevant agencies to use scientific knowledge in tackling challenges and setting development priorities.
