Libyan Foreign Minister of the Government of National Unity, Najla Mangoush, met on Thursday with Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, in Tripoli where they discussed cooperation between the Libyan judiciary and the ICC.
Both sides, who met at the Libyan Foreign Ministry’s headquarters, discussed some human rights cases in Libya, including investigating Tarhuna mass graves, according to a statement from the ministry.
They also explored “providing international technical support in criminal matters, developing the scope and mechanisms of cooperation, in addition to the possibility of holding an international conference in Libya under the auspices of the International Criminal Court as soon as possible.”
