Libya’s outgoing Minister of Labor Ali Al-Abed, held an online meeting on Thursday with his Palestinian counterpart, Nasri Abu Jaish, to discuss coordination mechanisms for forming a technical committee that will oversee the activation memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries.
According to statement by the Libyan Ministry of Labor, Al-Abed affirmed during the meeting “the depth and authenticity of relations between the two brotherly countries, reiterating Libya’s firm position on the Palestinian cause”.
For his part, Abu Jaish praised the effective cooperation of the Libyan ministry regarding labor and vocational training issues between Libya and Palestine.
