Employees of the National Oil Corporation’s branch in Benghazi accused the government of outgoing premier Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh of “deliberate marginalization” for not paying their salaries since four months.
They urged Dbeibeh “not to politicize the oil sector and ensure a fair distribution of its revenues.”
They also threatened “escalation” if the Tripoli-based government failed to respond to their demands.
