The U.N. Advisor on Libya, Stephanie Williams, on Friday urged the government of outgoing premier Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh to restore domestic flights “without further delay”.
“Civilian flights from Tripoli to Benghazi have been suspended for more than 2 weeks!,” Williams pointed out via Twitter. “reiterate that freedom of movement around the country is a basic human right that must be respected.”
“I join Libyans in calling on the relevant state authorities to resume civilian flights without further delay,” she added.
