During their meeting with UN Envoy Hanna Tetteh in Tunisia, members of the Libyan 5+5 Joint Military Commission emphasized the importance of making progress in the political process to facilitate the security track in the country.
The members reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the ceasefire and ensuring the withdrawal of foreign forces, foreign fighters, and mercenaries, in the interest of security and stability in Libya, according to UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).
