Libya’s House of Representatives is scheduled to convene a session in Benghazi today as per an announcement last week by House Speaker Aguila Saleh.

This session comes after the House unanimously approved the thirteenth constitutional amendment, which concerns elections, on on February 7.

On February 15, the spokesman for the parliament, Abdullah Blehaq, confirmed that the parliament sent the amendment draft to the High Council of State.

According to Blehaq, the council should now review the draft and share any adjustments, as per bilateral agreement between the two chambers.
