The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on Wednesday the registration of 2,485 new cases with COVID-19, in addition to 1,422 cases of recovery, and 26 deaths.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya to 260,951, including 61,677 active cases, 195,639 recoveries, and 3,635 deaths, according to NCDC.
The number of people vaccinated against the virus so far has reached 712,213, which only represents ten percent of thepopulation.
