Libyan Robotics Team Wins Global Awards at VEX Championship in the United States

The Libyan robotics team (university category) achieved a new international milestone by clinching two prestigious awards at the VEX Robotics World Championship, marking an exceptional presence as the sole representative of Libya and the only participating Arab team in this global forum this year.

For the second consecutive year, Libyan youth proved their competence by competing against elite international universities, as the team was crowned with the “Girl Powered Award,” dedicated to empowering women in STEM fields, in addition to the “Judges Award,” which is granted for excellence in engineering design and high professionalism.

This crowning is considered a qualitative leap that confirms the ability of national cadres to innovate and compete in the fields of artificial intelligence, ensuring the Libyan flag remains present on global podiums despite all challenges.
